MAGIX Software has released major new versions of ACID – the range now includes ACID Pro 9, ACID Pro 365, ACID Pro Next, ACID Pro Next 365, and ACID Pro Next Suite. ACID Pro Next features the integration of audio source separation directly into the creative process – Zynaptiq Stem Maker technology splits songs neatly into different tracks for what MAGIX say is “the ultimate sampling, remixing, mash-up and beat-making workflow”. Together with the new MIDI Playable Chopper, ACID Pro Next is designed to be an MPC-style performance sampler that delivers creative possibilities to beat producers. At its core, ACID Pro Next utilizes ACID’s audio loop production.
