Gotye and DiegoStocco – Manual Machine Improv

A musical improvisation on the Manual Machine, played by Wally/Gotye.

The Manual Machine is an instrument I built when I was filming my latest video tutorial called “Creative Miking Techniques”. I used contact mics on it, so that it could make “drum machine” kind of sounds out of two pieces of rubber (rubber straps found at the hardware store) and a snare wire attached to a piece of cardboard.

We filmed this video yesterday right after lunch, I hope you’ll enjoy it! : )
