News: Impact Soundworks – Curio: Cinematic Toy Piano
Impact Soundworks has just released “CURIO: Cinematic Toy Piano”, our
latest virtual instrument for KONTAKT 4+. This library deeply samples
a miniature grand piano with both traditional and prepared techniques.
The instrument was then deconstructed and further mangled to produce a
huge variety of tonal, atonal, and percussive noises, which were then
processed further to create 23 different patches.
Curio is ideal for film/TV/game scoring with sounds that range from
soft and subtle, to tense, spine-chilling, and even epic (with some
heavy bass hits, subs, and smashes). We’re particularly proud of the
scripted interface which adds all sorts of additional sound sculpting
capabilities – multimode filtering, synced delay, convolution reverb
with 5x custom impulses, etc.
The library is available now for a limited intro price of $59 (list price $79).
