GSi released Electrorchestra for iPad

GSi released Electrorchestra for iPad, the portable version of the very same Virtual String Machine of the GSi Gemini.
A simulation of a classic string machine is one of the 15 synth engines of the GSi Gemini. This particular instrument is not a reproduction of a specific existing model. It’s inspired by some of the most famous string keyboards of the seventies, such as the ARP Solina, the Logan String Melody and the SIEL Orchestra.

It offers 3 string registers plus one bass, features the classic attack-release envelope generator with break-point (which was mainly used to mimic the presence of a natural reverberation without using an additional reverberator), vibrato and a classic chorus/flanger effect that gives that distinguishable shimmer to the sound.

A classic 4-stage phaser effect completes the set.

Use it in your favorite AUv3 host along with other GSi effects such as GS-201 Mark II, ECHO B2, TimeVerb-X.

Main features:

  • Full polyphony (61 notes, 73 oscillators)
  • Electronic Circuit Modeling (no samples inside!)
  • 4 registers: Bass, Cello, Viola, Violin
  • Attack/Release envelope with adjustable break-point
  • Vibrato
  • Chorus (3 voice BBD-like)
  • Four-stage Phaser effect
  • Adjustable Brilliance
  • Available in stand-alone or AUv3 plugin
  • Embedded user’s manual
